It starts as a balance bike, which helps kiddos who either haven’t been on a bike before or are veteran Strider riders gain confidence and balancing ability on a bigger bike. When your kiddo is ready to spread their wings, attach the Easy-Ride Pedal Conversion Kit (sold separately), and watch them soar. No need for a stress ball to control your aggravation, installation is quick and easy, just a turn of the wrench (that we even provide for you) and it’s finished. The Stride-Around Narrow Pedals allow kids to quickly put their feet down and stride when they need more momentum without bumps and bruises on little shins. Learning to pedal on the same bike you learned balance is a HUGE advantage. Parents can sit back and watch their child’s confidence and excitement skyrocket.
